Similar to recent editions of Upper Deck Trilogy basketball, 2005/2006 Trilogy Hockey features plexi-glass cards made famous in Upper Deck Ice.
Each pack contains either a plexi-glass card, an autograph card or a memorabilia card.
The plexi-glass cards are very popular and very striking. Collectors must carefully remove a white protective film from the front of the card. These plexi-glass cards are serial numbered to 599 copies.
Plexi-glass card autographs include Trilogy Ice Scripts which features sport prints of current superstars such as Vincent Lecavalier, Saku Koivu and Mats Sundin as well as sports prints of legends such as Ray Bourque.
Upper Deck Trilogy rookie cards are serial-numbered to 999 copies and three per box on average can be found. Trilogy rookies are numbered 171-220, with the key cards being Sidney Crosby (currently booking at $350) and Alexander Ovechkin (booking at $250).
Collectors should also keep their eyes out for Personal Scripts, which feature short prints of NHL heroes of the past such as Guy Lafleur, Cam Neely and Bobby Hull.
Also look for a Gordie Howe Personal Script, which would be an exciting addition to any sports card collection. Each 9-pack box will deliver 3 game jersey cards, 3 Frozen In Time sequentially numbered plexi-glass cards, 2 Autographs and 1 Ice Scripts Autographed plexi-glass card.
